Get enough sleep
Ensuring you get 6-8 hours sleep is the best way to rejuvenate your skin.
Let Your Skin Breathe
Always take your makeup off at bed time, clogged pores are one of the main causes for skin imperfections. During the night your skin repairs itself, so it needs all the oxygen it can get to do so; sleeping with your make-up on denies your skin from oxygen, preventing it from self-repairing, thus causing a dull and dry looking skin.
Look after your Eyes
Remember to remove your eye make-up at the end of the day and do it gently, this area consists of a very delicate skin that can get easily damaged and become dehydrated. Dry skin is more prone to wrinkles, and can lead to premature ageing so ensure you're gentle and always apply an eye cream, this should be applied inwards towards the inner corner of the eye.
Remember to Use your ring finger
When it comes to applying makeup or skincare products to spot areas, consider using your ring finger. The ring finger has the lightest touch, use it to dab concealer and apply lotion around the eyes.
Exfoliate regularly
Exfoliation is an important and easy way to buff away the dead skin cells that cover up your skin's natural glow. But make sure you use a light exfoliator or you may be removing too much skin.
Dry out your spots
Believe it or not, dabbing toothpaste onto a pimple is a quick and easy way to dry it out.
Keep moisturised
No matter what skin type you have you should moisturise daily, morning and evening, this is especially important in the winter when your skin is more prone to dehydation.
Your diet matters
You should eat vitamin-rich food items such as oats, avocado, other fruits and vegetables. Concentrate on vitamins A and E in proper amounts. Stay away from oily, greasy food as it can lead to the onset of pimples.
Exercise
Exercising is not only good for toning and feeling good, it also ( if done correctly ) makes you sweat a lot, which in turn helps clean the skin.
